A town in Bulgaria, located in the central part of the country, in the Topolnitsa River valley, about 111 km east of the capital.

Koprivshtitsa is known for its rich history and culture, as well as its beautiful 19th-century architecture. The town is an important cultural center, especially for the Bulgarian national and liberation movement, as many significant events took place there during Bulgaria’s struggle for independence in the 19th century.

The town features numerous historic houses, museums, and churches, such as the Kolev House Museum, the Chepchev House Museum, the Boshilkov House Museum, the Lutentsi House Museum, and the Todor Kableshkov House Museum. Koprivshtitsa also hosts annual festivals, including the Karak Festival and the Bulgarian Folklore Festival.
