A city best known for the historic international conferences that took place there in 1945 during World War II.

Yalta is located on the southern coast of Crimea, in southern Ukraine, on the Black Sea.

The city is a popular resort, famous for its beautiful landscapes, lush vegetation, and warm climate. It is home to numerous palaces, villas, and gardens, many of which were built in the tsarist era and today represent an important part of Crimea’s cultural heritage.

Lenin Promenade in Yalta

One of the oldest and most frequently visited streets of Crimea’s resort capital. It is lined with palm trees, historic buildings, and umbrella-shaped canopies. Several of Yalta’s well-known attractions are located along the promenade, such as the chapel in honor of the Synodal Chapel of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, the plane tree of Isadora Duncan, monuments to Mikhail Pugovkin, Anton Chekhov and The Lady with the Dog, the statue of Vladimir Lenin, and others. Another interesting tourist spot is the Roffe Baths, built in 1897.

Hotel Yalta – Dolphinarium

The largest resort complex in Crimea, located on the Black Sea coast, at the foot of the Yalta Mountains and surrounded by the centuries-old greenery of Massandra Park.

Guests can also swim with dolphins in the hotel pools.

Swallow`s Nest Castle

A Neo-Gothic castle perched on a steep 40-meter cliff of Cape Ai-Todor in the village of Gaspra. Its current appearance is the result of a 1912 reconstruction carried out by Sergey Karpovich Rachmanov.

Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and St. Alexandra of Rome in Massandra

Built in 1916 according to the design of architect V. N. Maksimov for a sanatorium for tubercular non-commissioned officers and officers of the Russian Navy. On December 6, 1916, the church was consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the martyr Queen Alexandra, the heavenly patrons of the imperial couple. The church was built in the Old Russian style. Before its closure in 1930, the church housed a collection of ancient Russian icons.

Lenin Monument and Lenin Square in Yalta

Considered one of the most important and valuable [!] among its counterparts in the world.
The bronze statue of Lenin stands on a colossal pedestal of red marble. The monument rises in the center of Lenin Square. Its ceremonial unveiling took place in January 1954.

In fact, this is the second Lenin monument at this location, as the first one was dismantled during the Great Patriotic War and has never been found to this day ;-)
