Red Tower / Tatar Tower

Also known as the Caucasian Barracks, it served as housing for Russian soldiers of Islamic faith.

Of course, not all of them were Tatars, but there’s no need to complicate the naming.

Today, the tower houses a small museum dedicated to the history of Modlin Fortress.

Poniatowski Gate

Also known as the Mikhailov Gate, it is one of the two defensive gates in Modlin Fortress.
