The main tourist attraction in Licheń is the Marian Sanctuary, one of the largest centers of religious pilgrimage in Poland.
The sanctuary complex includes the Basilica of St. Joseph, one of the largest churches in the country, as well as the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows, Queen of Poland. The basilica can accommodate around 10,000 worshippers and is richly decorated with polychromes and stained glass windows. Surrounding the basilica are numerous chapels and religious statues, including a monument to Pope John Paul II.
Other tourist attractions in Licheń include the Regional Museum, which presents the history of the local area, and the Water Park, offering family-friendly activities such as swimming pools, water slides, and saunas.
Licheń Stary is also an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling trips, especially into the nearby forests and around local lakes. The surrounding area features many historical landmarks, including the castle in Kórnica and the monastery in Ląd.
