A city located in northeastern Poland, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, situated on the ElblÄ g River and the ElblÄ g Canal.
The history of the city dates back to the Middle Ages, when ElblÄ g was an important trade center and seaport. In modern times, the city was ruled by various states, including the Kingdom of Poland, Prussia, and later Germany. After World War II, ElblÄ g returned to Poland’s borders.
ElblÄ g boasts many historical monuments, including the Old Town complex with its town hall, churches, and townhouses, city fortifications, as well as the ElblÄ g Canal, which is one of the unique hydrotechnical monuments.
